After moving to Los Angeles from New York in the early 90’s, she eventually landed her first leading role in 1993’s Demolition Man, starring alongside Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes.
However, her breakout hit was starring opposite Keanu Reeves in 1994’s Speed, a film that took in $350.4 million worldwide. From there Sandra’s star continued to rise, eventually culminating in her Academy Award-winning performance in 2009’s The Blind Side and a 2014 deal that saw her earning upwards of $70 million for her role in the film Gravity.
